CNC Machinist
Paying $26 / HR to $35 / HR
Location: Clackamas, OR
Responsibilities:
Review production process work instructions and drawings with supervisor to gain a thorough understanding of requirements
Setup equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing process
Setup tools and fixtures, load into machine, and set offsets
Set parts X, Y, and Z offset in the machine control
Read and understand G&M code
Measure parts throughout process and adjust offsets to ensure drawings compliance
Ability to comply with all company safety guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Have a positive attitude
knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls
knowledge of machining and machining processes.
Ability to read blueprints.
Excellent math skill
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to perform job requirements with limited supervision
Strives to build knowledge and skills continuously; Shares expertise with others
Environment / Shift:
Small machine shop looking to expand their business quickly.
They just opened a second location and are building that team out.
They plan to double their team size by the end of this year.
They are looking for someone who can get creative to complete a project or task.
Someone that can think on the fly if something doesn't work out how they intended.
They work with many kinds of materials and have many kinds of machines.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
