As part of a cross-functional Agile team, the UI Front-End Developer will support the design and development of single-page applications (SPAs) within a microservices architecture. This is a cloud-native program that emphasizes modular, scalable design and continuous delivery, with a strong focus on performance, security, and usability.

About the Project:

The team is delivering a next-generation platform for CBP to better manage operational workflows, data visualization, and decision-making tools across border and homeland security functions. Applications are being re-architected using Spring Boot microservices and modern front-end frameworks to improve speed, maintainability, and user experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Deploy applications in a secure cloud environment using CI/CD pipelines

Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility and performance standards

Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

Familiarity with Spring Boot and building applications within a microservices environment

Solid understanding of REST APIs and integration techniques

Experience in Agile development with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins

Cloud exposure (AWS or Azure preferred)

Active or prior security clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or higher)

Experience on federal or DHS/CBP programs

Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and containerized deployments

Understanding of Section 508 compliance and secure coding practices

This is a high-visibility, long-term program with immediate openings and strong potential for conversion. Interviews are moving quickly.
