PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Systems Administrator to join our team in support of the NAWCAD Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) in Patuxent River, MD.
The candidate will serve as a member of an integrated team with the Government and contractor subject matter experts in support of installing, configuring, designing and maintaining the Automated Call Distribution (ACD) and Digital Signage systems.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Support activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Support software installation, patching, testing, and application releases.
Support the configuration and administration of electronic displays in multiple formats.
Troubleshoot issues with Digital Signage systems to maintain functionality and stability at all times (providing remote and on-site customer support).
Respond to system outage notifications.
Perform maintenance of the Digital Signage tools in accordance with the approved schedule.
Support network administration and design for the Digital Signage system.
Support the evaluation and application of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and Advisories.
Support the maintenance of system security posture in compliance with DOD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
Support the development of scripts to automate the administration process.
Apply best practices for application for overall system performance.
Support the maintenance of software documentation and operational instructions, including software installation instructions and system configuration documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
Good customer service with strong communication and writing experience
Security+ Certification and OS Certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Available to support after hours and weekend maintenance activities which may include software installation, patching, testing, troubleshooting, and application releases.
Experience with Digital Signage Application, Korbyt preferred.
Desired Experience:
• Knowledgeable and experienced with application and server administration.
• Knowledgeable application administration, service administration knowledge, implementing and maintaining security requirements.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Photoshop.
• Experience with Graphics Art
• Experience with Aries Digital Appliances (SDAs).
• Customizing digital displays (TV displays, kiosks, desktop screens, mobile devices) based on customer requirements.
Education Requirements:
BA/BS Degree. OR Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience. OR High School diploma or GED with formal IT related trade school training (i.e. IT related post secondary nondegree award / certificate program, industry recognized certifications and
commercially available training programs) and 6 years additional
experience.
Travel Requirements:
Must be able to travel up to 15%
