We are looking for a Cyber Security / DLP Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage DLP policies using Microsoft Purview and other enterprise tools.
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate threats.
Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and standard operating procedures.
Provide technical guidance on secure configurations, access controls, and encryption practices.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security roles.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender (for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps) and Microsoft Purview.
Strong understanding of DLP concepts, data classification, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Familiarity with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and incident response processes.
