Job Description

Client is looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Developer to join a team building advanced solutions in electric vehicles, grid-edge technologies, and power supply systems. This role involves designing, testing, and deploying embedded firmware in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Ideal candidates will have strong C++ skills, experience with embedded Linux, and a passion for developing reliable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded firmware for electronic test/power products.

Collaborate with firmware, gateware, electrical engineers, and QA to define and implement features.

Drive continuous improvement in firmware development processes.

Actively engage in team learning and technical development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, CE, EE, or related field.

3+ years of Embedded firmware/software development experience.

Strong C++ and OOP skills.

Experience with multi-threaded embedded Linux systems.

Proficiency in VS Code, Qt Creator, GCC, and GDB.

Skilled with Git version control.

Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.

Excellent interpersonal and cross-site communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

GUI development with Qt framework.

Experience with Agile development tools/processes.

Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.

Experience documenting APIs and system designs.

Ability to read hardware schematics and understand circuit diagrams.

Exposure to FPGA/digital design, and HW interfaces like PCIe, DMA, SPI, I2C.
