Naval Undersea Logistics & Technical Data Specialist to support the U.S.

Navy's AN/BYG-1 submarine combat system at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI.

This role directly supports the Technical Design Authority (TDA) and plays a critical part in ensuring logistics readiness and technical publication accuracy for a key undersea warfare capability.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Navy technical documentation processes, and a strong understanding of submarine system support.

Key Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end ILS support for AN/BYG-1, including managing technical documentation and logistics data.

Maintain and track accuracy of technical manuals and ensure updates align with established schedules.

Manage and resolve deficiencies discovered during lab events and Fleet reviews.

Investigate and validate reported discrepancies through desktop analysis and lab-based reviews.

Maintain the master release schedule for IETMs and RRMs.

Coordinate with content developers and source providers to meet publication deadlines.

Support the integration team during software build cycles by validating procedures and tracking changes.

Schedule lab activities to support ILS verification and validation.

Travel: Occasional local or overnight travel may be required.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience in Navy logistics, submarine support, or technical documentation.

Active Secret clearance.

Strong communication, scheduling, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in ILS or submarine logistics programs.

Familiarity with AN/BYG-1, IETMs, RRMs, and Navy technical data processes.

Prior experience supporting NUWC or submarine combat systems.
