Junior Data Analyst

Jr. Data Engineer / Data Modeler

Arlington, VA Hybrid; Onsite Tues-Thurs

18 month W2 Contract

Responsibilities:

Work with both existing SQL code to reverse engineer it, and with net-new data to create code from scratch

Communicate with stakeholders

Enable new data and reporting tables

Define processes to effectively process, model, and enable data assets consumption for analytics and reporting for users and applications

Collaborate with Data Management Leads to ensure modeling standards are followed

Perform data modeling design reviews in partnership with IT to ensure the models are scalable and secure

Create, publish, and maintain the master version of data models in the system of record

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree within MIS, Computer Science, Data Analysis etc. or equivalent experience

Ability to run SQL queries, understand enterprise data models, profile data sets, and design conceptual models

Understanding primary key combinations of data modeling

Any exposure to supply chain systems nice to have but not required
