Job Title: Sr. Web AI Research Engineer/AI/ML

Location: Mountain View, CA & Boston, MA Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract

Looking for a strong AI/ML-focused engineer who can build intelligent web agents that perform autonomous, multi-step tasks using JavaScript, LLMs, and web scraping technologies. The role sits at the intersection of AI (especially LLM/NLP) and web development — not purely academic but with real-world engineering skills, ideally backed by hands-on prototyping, coding, and research application.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and build web-based AI agents that can navigate and interact with web pages autonomously.

Develop and test prototypes and proofs-of-concept quickly to evaluate ideas.

Use JavaScript and web scraping tools to extract and manipulate web data.

Integrate and fine-tune LLMs like OpenAI/Gemini/Claude into AI workflows.

Optimize AI models for deployment on edge devices or Android OS.

Collaborate on research with a focus on real-world application (not purely academic).

Contribute to publications, internal IPs, or patents where applicable.

Notes:

Comfortable with coding interviews – strong engineering background

Bachelors with 5+ years or Master’s/PhD with 2+ years
