Data Scientist

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in generative AI and large language models (LLMs) to join their fast-paced data and technology team. This hybrid role involves both project-based work and ad hoc analytical support.

Location: Richardson, TX (Hybrid –Tuesdays/Thursdays)

Employment Type: Contract through 10/31/2025 (Potential for extension or conversion to full-time)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No overtime expected)

Responsibilities:Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to real-world business problems

Collaborate cross-functionally to support and deliver data-driven insights

Develop and maintain models using Python, R, and SQL

Experiment with and implement generative AI/LLM solutions for internal projects

Leverage tools like LangChain to build AI applications

Requirements:

2–3 years of hands-on experience in a data science roleBachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and LangChain

Experience working with generative AI and large language models

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical topics clearly

Experience with Microsoft Azure

Familiarity with modern MLOps and cloud-based development environments
