Workday Reporting Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Reporting Consultant with a strong background in developing custom reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, and PRISM, and be skilled in integrating Workday data with leading Business Intelligence (BI) tools to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards within Workday (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and PRISM Analytics).

Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver high-impact data visualizations.

Integrate Workday data with external BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake) to enhance enterprise analytics capabilities.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports.

Develop calculated fields, Workday datasets, and custom analytics to meet business needs.

Optimize report performance and usability for end-users across departments.

Provide support for reporting audits, compliance, and ad hoc data requests.

Document reporting processes and maintain data governance standards.

Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Reporting and Analytics.

Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, and PRISM Analytics.

Experience integrating Workday with external BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Solid understanding of HCM or Financial data structures in Workday.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Workday Certification in Reporting and/or PRISM is preferred.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Workday Security related to reporting (report access and sharing).

Familiarity with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, or BIRT.

Prior experience in large-scale Workday implementations or multi-country rollouts.
