Application Manager

Position Overview/Responsibilities For The Application Manager

Oversee application management and project coordination across multiple teams and work streams

Collaborate with security architects and engineering teams to ensure secure application design and deployment

Manage vendor relationships, including negotiation, performance tracking, and contract management

Ensure compliance with state agency IT security policies and regulatory frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, CJIS

Required Skills For Application Manager

Minimum of 10 years of experience in application management, project oversight, and cross-functional team coordination

Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and network segmentation

Experience with secure CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code security controls (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, GitOps)

Familiarity with security tools and platforms, container security, vulnerability management, and SIEM systems

Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, including negotiation, performance tracking, and contract management
