IT Network Administrator

We are looking for an IT Network Administrator to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, and related services.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including Cisco and Extreme Networks routers, switches, and wireless access points.

Manage and maintain firewall systems to ensure network security and compliance.

Perform routine network maintenance, firmware updates, and system backups.

Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments.

Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and system upgrades.

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and assets.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in network and systems administration.

Proficiency with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

Hands-on experience with Cisco and Extreme Networks hardware.

Strong understanding of firewall technologies and network security best practices.

Familiarity with routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
