Lead Full-Stack PHP Engineer

We are working with a tech leader headquartered in Columbus to identify a Full-Stack PHP Engineering Lead to work on their team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of web-based applications using PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel and YII2) and creation of documentations (inside source code and external documents) using best industry standards and practices

Write “clean”, well designed, reusable code

Work from specifications to build out complete web portals with database back-ends

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain web applications for multiple browsers

Maintain documentation to internal standards (source code, use cases and external documents)

Daily interaction with online collaborative tools (internal company and client-facing)

Design and build unit tests and review and repair legacy code

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer with 6+ years of programming or application development experience

Experience with back-end language and knowledge of front-end languages and libraries

Must have experience with Laravel and React

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming

Find joy in working out solutions to tricky problems

Ability to effectively communicate technical information in simple terms
