Operational Accounting Analyst

3 Month Contract-to-Possible Hire/Extension

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45040

Pay: $21-25/hr

General Overview

A growing and well-established equipment leasing company is seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accounting Analyst to join its team. This role supports the Operational Accounting Department in the setup, maintenance, and processing of lease and loan transactions throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day tasks related to lease and loan operations, including:

Initial booking

Renewals and rewrites

Transfers and assumptions

Rent changes and miscellaneous invoicing

End-of-term processing and terminations

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure billing and payment accuracy

Prepare month-end reports and ensure timely submission

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 1–3 years of relevant experience; or 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience

Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—across all organizational levels

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Aspire and/or Lease Plus systems

Background in the equipment leasing or mortgage industry
