Inventory Controller – Carson, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES.
The Inventory Controller will carry out the following tasks:
Inventory Reports
Detailed Inventory report to be run each morning through EXO: check SCALE, EXO and credits paperwork to verify what caused the variance (e.g. credit error, return error or order stuck in SCALE, credit processed incorrectly, factory fault, stock take).
Monthly Inventory Adjustment report
All staging locations are checked every morning and Friday afternoon (prior to STOCK SYNC).
Complete all reserve and pickface cycle counts and investigate any adjustments +/- 10EA.
Replenishments and Cycle Counts
Ensuring all Cycle Counts are completed daily.
Communicate with the WHM any trends or concerns regarding inaccurate replenishments affecting inventory accuracy in reserve or the pickface.
Reserve and pickface Cycle Count variances +/- 10EA investigated.
Stocktakes and Stock Syncs:
Stocktake all locations as and where required to ensure location accuracy is attained.
Overpicks are put away in stocktake locations.
Stocktakes or inventory reports may require you to investigate stock to determine what caused the error.
Investigate stock syncs and provide reasons behind stock sync adjustments to the Head of Logistics and Warehouse Manager
Containers:
Email Logistics Supervisor once a shipment is complete or if there’s variances/discrepancies prior to finalizing in SCALE for additional PO to be sent down or PO to be costed in.
Communicate all requests for a new location set up to the Logistics department for new sku’s.
Record any variances and send them through to the Logistics Supervisor post double check of stock received.
Actively participate in stock putaway in the correct aisle.
Occupational Health and Safety:
Health and Safety (H&S) requirements are understood, implemented and followed at all times.
Participate in H&S meetings as and when required.
Identify any hazards and notify management as soon as you become aware of any.
Being actively involved in H&S near miss identification and reporting.
Warehouse hygiene is maintained at a high level i.e trash picked up, kitchen is clean and tidy etc.
Follow all correct procedures in regards to H&S.
Engage and participate in any additional warehouse/operational projects or work where required.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE.
3 years’ experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
Skilled in operating MHE with current and valid forklift license.
Competent and has experience using Warehouse management systems such as SCALE.
Good knowledge of ASC Product range.
Cycle count experience.
Accurate attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
