The position
As Associate Manager, you will:
• Lead and set the direction for a team of eight operators in our Warehouse Operations, supporting four production lines.
• Ensure efficient and high-quality daily operations in accordance with GMP standards to secure a stable supply chain for our rare disease portfolio.
• Drive operational improvements and standardisation to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Play a key role in a major transformation project to prepare the warehouse for supporting three additional production lines by the end of 2026, including physical upgrades, designing new workflows, and building team competencies.
• Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the site, planning, and central warehouse functions to ensure seamless operations and readiness for future demands.
To succeed in this role, you must be structured, effective, and consistent in executing day-to-day deliverables while maintaining a strategic focus on long-term objectives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven managerial experience in a production environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or a similar regulated sector.
• Strategic, innovative, and analytical mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with LEAN principles and solid stakeholder management skills are preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Danish is required.

About the department
You will be part of the Finish Products Manufacturing Operations team in Gentofte and Kirke Værløse, reporting to the Senior Manager. Our site is one of the smallest within Novo Nordisk, with approximately 250 employees and four production lines. However, we are on an exciting growth journey, expanding with three new lines over the next year and introducing new products and devices to our portfolio. The management team consists of five managers and an assistant, creating a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere where your contributions will make a real difference.
