Optalis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Manager for our Mill Run Health & Rehabilitation Center. We are looking for caring and compassionate employees that are looking to join our team and help us fulfill our mission of providing a clean, safe living environment for our residents.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the operations of the Housekeeping/Laundry Department. You will ensure that the community is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner through overseeing the preventative and contractual care of the facilities, ensuring quality work for our residents.
This individual would be responsible for maintaining residents personal clothing as well as linens for staff & residents.
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining residents personal clothing as well as linens for staff & residents
Ensuring equipment and supplies are maintained and operable to perform necessary duties and services
restocking linen closets, passing patient/resident personal clothing
maintaining cleanliness of the laundry room
Manage Housekeeping/Laundry Staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Experience: 1-2 years in long-term care and in the management of resident care
Previous experience in a supervisory capacity in a maintenance-related position is a plus.
