F/C BOOKKEEPER – A/R SPECIALIST
Job Description:
Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of our Wholesale and Property Management business. Reporting timely and accurate financial information. Offer financial insights to the business for optimization of the business growth. Handling of all aspects of the day-to-day Bookkeeping functions: A/P, billing, A/R, recording of PR and PR taxes, filing of timely sales tax returns, monthly bank reconciliations, customer statements and collections of past due accounts, analyzing various GL accounts to ensure books are accurate for reporting purposes, recording of daily incoming credit card receipts, ACH’s and check deposits for customer accounts, monthly recording and reconciling of company credit card expenses.
· Work closely with the sales department to supervise invoices, credit memos, customer refunds and the management of delinquent customer accounts.
· Weekly processing of A/P utilizing open invoice report and scheduling of outgoing disbursements with the approval of the Owner.
· Preparation of monthly profit and loss statements for review and reporting to the Owner.
· Work with the accounting firm to prepare year-end reports and support documents to prove balances of balance sheet accounts are accurate.
· Work with other departments including Sales and Service to ensure smooth financial operations.
· Manage all accounting records for proper storage and archiving in accordance to IRS guidelines.
MUST BE:
Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening and analytical skills with the ability to “HEAR” all stakeholders and turn direction into action.
Ability to be innovative and creative in securing and aiding in the company’s growth using positive financial outlook reporting.
Must have (5) plus years’ experience in wholesale and retail sales accounting systems and procedures.
Have the ability to take direction, work well with others and be a team player.
PLUS:
