CNC Machinist

Job Description

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist II in the Manufacturing and Machining industry in Chesterfield, MO!

Salary:

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Shift:

2nd Shift

Location:

Chesterfield, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines independently

Load programs, adjust tools, and perform edits as needed

Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings

Perform first-part and in-process inspections

Maintain accurate setup documentation and program files

Assist with prototype machining and improvement of processes

Train other operators as needed

Follow all safety and 5S procedures

Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Formal CNC training preferred

Minimum 2 years of CNC mill or lathe experience

Experience with Mazak CNC a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of CNC machining and setup

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

Skilled in editing programs and improving part processes

Able to work independently and train others

Quality-focused with low scrap rates
