This position is with a leading manufacturer of high-quality pipeline products for the oil and gas and other industries, offering innovative solutions for pipeline construction and maintenance. We are dedicated to providing the best customer service and maintaining the highest standards in precision and quality. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding products.

Schedule: Night Shift, Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 2am or later at times.

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components for pipeline products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience in machining for industrial applications, particularly in the pipeline or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to produce high-quality parts and components for pipeline products.

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining specifications, tool requirements, and dimensions.

Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and are produced to the correct specifications within established tolerances.

Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery or production processes.

Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to optimize production and reduce errors.

Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Keep accurate records of work performed, including material usage, machine downtime, and production output.

Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or associate degree in CNC machining or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a CNC machinist, ideally in the manufacturing or pipeline products industry.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and machine operation.

Experience with Horizontal Boring Mills, CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.

Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.Company Description
