Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new service opportunities, focusing on advanced digital offerings and maintenance strategies for Building Automation Systems
Build strong relationships with building owners, facility managers, property managers, engineers, and consultants
Develop technical skills to thoroughly understand Climatec offerings to address customer needs
Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing Climatec marketing strategies and maintaining a high level of sales activity
Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy
Develop estimates and proposals for projects. Coordinate subcontractors for estimating purposes
Assume account management responsibility to assure complete customer satisfaction
Stay current with industry trends, codes, utility rebate programs, and sustainability initiatives
Ability to work as a team member, which may require working with other sales representatives in Climatec
Actively participate in outside organizations associated with our industry
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system
Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis

Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred experience in sales, preferably in the Mechanical/Construction/HVAC industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field
2+ years of experience in HVAC/ Building Automation sales
Experience in the HVAC or plumbing industry
Familiarity with MS Office software and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel as needed
Essential Job Functions:
Be able to lift and carry, drawings, personal computers, material, and spend significant time sitting etc.
Be able to lift up to 20lbs.
Be able to spend significant time standing and walking.
Be able to climb flights of stairs throughout a typical day.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, if driving a company vehicle or participating in an auto allowance program.
