Summary:
Manage Masthead’s product strategy ensuring that garment design, fit, materials and workmanship meet or exceed customer expectations and are up to quality and safety standards
Manage new product creation, the continuous improvement of existing products, and the maintenance of quality standards
Operate as a key member of the organization, working with management, operations and finance to execute an on-brand product strategy that fulfills the company mission of Improving the Patient Experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new products
Create and maintain tech packs, patterns, specifications, measurements, packaging and labeling materials, and other materials to ensure production of garments that meet specifications
Drive continuous improvement of existing products as necessary
Maintain and update production procedures documentation/SOPs
Work with factories/help manage factory relationships
Check and approve raw materials and garment prototypes prior to production
Maintaining quality assurance documentation
Collect, analyze, and report product quality data
Investigate and resolve quality issues, recommend actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence and enhance quality and efficiency.
Coordinate periodic testing of raw materials and finished products, maintain testing results records
Requirements:
4+ years in Intimate Apparel Design and Product Development, preferably in medical or sports bras
Sourcing, Production Coordination and Quality Assurance experience a plus
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Facility with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and PLM software
Detail- and quality-focused
Desire to help and work with others
Willing to work 5 days in-person in office - non-negotiable
Occasional travel (up to 2 or 3 times per year)
