CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Horizontal Mill Machinist to join a local Northwest precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating horizontal milling machines and a strong commitment to producing high-quality parts and components. This role involves setting up, some programming, and operating milling machines to achieve precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate horizontal milling machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Horizontal Mill Machinist.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.

Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certification or relevant training in machining or a related field is a plus.
