The position
As a Senior Science Communication Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing science communication plans and projects across Development.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Convey scientific concepts and research findings to diverse audiences, including technical experts and laypersons
Create high-quality content such as scripts, presentations, and infographics that illustrate complex scientific topics in an engaging and accessible manner
Collaborate with medics, scientists, researchers, and cross-functional teams on various projects to gather information and translate complex scientific data into compelling narratives
Contribute to cross-departmental projects, supporting different tasks and initiatives, while finding joy in working with diverse stakeholders and adapting to varied communication needs
Monitor industry advancements to ensure that our communication strategies are current and impactful
Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant scientific field, coupled with experience in science communication
Minimum of 5 years of experience in science communication or a related role, with a proven ability to communicate complex scientific topics to varied audiences
Prior experience and understanding from Novo Nordisk or another pharmaceutical company
Excellent writing and presentation crafting skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, capable of working with scientists and stakeholders from different backgrounds

Based in our office in Søborg Denmark, we work collaboratively with each other and with the global organisation to create consistency and focus.
Our team consists of a team of Communication Partners and a Communication Excellence Team, who work seamlessly together, driving communication plans and projects. We work organically in a cross-functional way and engage with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
