Position Summary: Delta Point is looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to join our team.

A Senior Oracle Developer designs, develops, and maintains an Oracle RDBMS back-end servicing an ASP.NET Core Blazor front-end running on Microsoft Azure in a cloud environment.

The Senior Oracle Developer will help maintain the Oracle RDBMS software as well as in-house packages, procedures, and scripts.

They work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet organizational needs.

They specialize in designing, developing and maintaining applications using Oracle database technologies in a Cloud based solution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases and applications using PL/SQL.

This includes writing functions, procedures, and packages to enhance database performance.

Provide support and maintenance for in-house applications, troubleshooting issues, testing code, and ensuring optimal performance of the system.

Execute trial runs of software applications, review programs, and perform system analysis.

Performs DBA responsibilities including but not limited to design, maintain, develop, implement, and administer the oracle databases and its policies and procedures, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and integrity.

Implement data models and database designs, data access, and table maintenance.

Run multiple systems to check their accuracy and workability and troubleshoot any errors.

Install and upgrade Oracle database software as needed.

Manage issues with existing software and collaborate with team members to determine solution.

Work closely with project managers and other developers to create, maintain, and deploy system updates that meet organizational requirements.

Assist in creating new versions of the database, exporting and/or backing up data, importing data, and installing procedures necessary for transfer and analysis of data.

Create and maintain documentation for database designs and application processes.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty.

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is typically required.

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Oracle database technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms.

Familiarity with database management and application programming interfaces (APIs) is essential.

Experience: 10+ years of previous experience in Oracle database development or a related field is often preferred, along with familiarity with software development methodologies.

Job Knowledge and Computer Skills: Experience with Oracle 21c preferred, Oracle SaaS Product, APIs, and Web Services.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Visio.

Certificates and Licenses: IAT Level II Cybersecurity Baseline Certification required or willing to obtain.
