Position Overview Magnolia Dental in Worthington is actively seeking a highly experienced and polished Business Team Member to join our front office. This role is ideal for a seasoned dental professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, has strong patient communication skills, and can seamlessly manage front office operations.

As a key member of our administrative team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to checkout. We're looking for a dependable, organized professional who delivers excellent patient service, demonstrates ownership of their role, and brings strong industry knowledge to support clinical and financial operations.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors with a professional, welcoming attitude

Manage scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and re-care to ensure daily productivity goals are met

Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries efficiently and courteously

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits with accuracy and timeliness

Maintain and update patient records in accordance with HIPAA and company policy

Collect co-pays and outstanding balances; assist with billing and claims coordination

Present treatment plans and confidently review financial options with patients

Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and patients to maintain continuity of care

Identify opportunities to improve processes and patient experience proactively

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front office role (required)

Proficient in Dentrix Ascend or similar dental management software

Demonstrated ability to independently manage administrative duties with confidence

Strong working knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning

Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Positive, professional demeanor with a team-focused mindset

Commitment to delivering a high standard of patient service
