Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician

Location: Duncan

Reports To: Quality Control Manager

Position Type: Full-Time (10 hour shifts 4 times a week)

Two position openings :

A - Day Shift 7am to 5:30 pm (Mon through Thursday)

B - Night shift 7pm to 5:30 am (Tuesday through Friday)

Training will consist of 6 to 8 weeks from 8 am until 5 pm Monday through Friday

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Lab Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

Job Overview: As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality control testing, analysis, and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company specifications and industry regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet safety, quality, and performance standards before they are released for production or shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products using standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests such as pH, viscosity, moisture content, density, and other relevant chemical or physical tests.

Document and record test results accurately, maintaining detailed records of all laboratory activities.

Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and quality standards, adhering to ISO and other regulatory requirements.

Investigate and troubleshoot any deviations or discrepancies in test results, making necessary adjustments or recommendations for corrective actions.

Collaborate with production teams to provide timely feedback on product quality and assist with product improvement processes.

Prepare samples and assist in the development and validation of new testing methods or procedures.

Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to QC testing and lab activities for management review.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring that the lab meets all safety and environmental guidelines.

Provide assistance in the gathering, secure storage, and efficient shipping of samples.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred) or 1-3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory environment, preferably in a chemical manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with batch manufacturing processes and quality control standards in the chemical industry.

Strong understanding of laboratory testing methods and instrumentation.

Proficient in the use of lab equipment such as pH meters, balances, titrators, and spectrometers.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, GMP, ISO) is a plus.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
