Ambassador Personnel is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented and proactive Reliability Engineer to join our clients team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

The Reliability Engineer will drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and system reliability. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, optimizing maintenance strategies, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement reliability programs for equipment and systems

Provide daily leadership and expertise in reliability engineering activities that evaluates and improves the reliability of equipment, components, and processes using engineering methodologies and tools.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and recommend corrective actions

Hands-on analysis experience using RCA tools to problem solve and troubleshoot field work

Use predictive maintenance tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis)

Ensure predictive and preventative maintenance programs are in place and completed by their scheduled due dates.

Assist the maintenance and production teams with troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Work collaboratively with site personnel to develop, design and ensure the reliability and maintainability of equipment.

Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve asset performance

Analyze data trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce unplanned downtime

Maintain and improve CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) data

Lead FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) initiatives

Generate and champion new Industrial Automation improvement projects which enhance unit operation, effectiveness, quality, or operability.

Design and develop loop sheets, equipment control wiring diagrams, and motor control circuitry

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience in a reliability, maintenance, or engineering role (preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings)

Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability tools

Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Certification in reliability (CRE, CMRP) is a plus
