This position plays a key role in continuous improvement efforts, using data-informed decision-making to drive business outcomes. The engineer leads and supports the full lifecycle of electrical and automation projects—from concept and design through contractor engagement, costing, programming, installation, and commissioning. Working within and improving existing organizational structures, they serve as a connector between the shop floor and strategic leadership, ensuring seamless execution of system upgrades, safe implementation of new technologies, and ongoing alignment to production goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, quote, and execute facility electrical and automation projects.
Modify and develop SCADA/HMI systems
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems
Plan and manage power distribution upgrades
Lead technical resolution of production control system issues.
Coordinate internal teams and external contractors for project execution.
Serve as technical liaison between shop floor and engineering.
Support TPM efforts and advocate for scalable, ergonomic improvements.
Provide accurate documentation using AutoCAD/Solidworks Electrical.
Basic Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
