️ Job Title: Store Operations Specialist – Visual Communications
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension. Potential to become permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Position Summary:
We’re hiring a Store Operations Specialist to support in-store promotional and visual communications for a top retail client. This is a hybrid contract role supporting store operations and marketing execution by crafting and distributing clear, timely communications to store teams.
You'll play a key role in creating content for floorset instructions, pricing updates, and promotional offers that are shared across the store network through platforms like Zipline and XCC. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and distribute daily store-facing messages for promotions, floorset updates, and operational changes
Post documents and create tasks using the Zipline communication platform
Set up and maintain promotions in the XCC pricing system
Support incoming field questions via team inboxes and collaborate with cross-functional partners
Maintain a consistent cadence of communication aligned with visual and promotional timelines
Ensure all promotional set-ups and messages meet tight accuracy and delivery deadlines
Assist the team in delivering clear, store-executable guidance based on evolving business priorities
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience relevant to the job responsibilities. Experience in store operations, retail communications, or marketing support would be helpful.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business direction
Comfort with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines
Familiarity with platforms like Zipline and XCC (or similar retail tools) preferred but not required
Retail industry experience strongly preferred
Team-oriented, agile, and dependable with strong accountability
Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule (on-site Tues–Thurs in Columbus, OH)
Fast-paced, deadline-driven retail operations environment
Team-oriented with exposure to store, marketing, and corporate leadership
Company-issued laptop provided
Potential for contract extension based on project volume
