Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript)

Location: In-Person, San Francisco or Palo Alto

Join a small, fast-moving team building backend systems for AI-powered applications. We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead backend architecture, own DevOps, and collaborate cross-functionally to ship production-ready features quickly.

What You’ll Do:

Design scalable APIs and backend services (Node.js / Next.js)

Manage infrastructure, CI/CD, and system reliability

Collaborate with frontend and ML teams to launch new features

Lead engineering best practices and mentor teammates

Contribute to product direction based on user feedback

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript

Strong systems design and API development skills

Hands-on DevOps experience (Docker, cloud platforms, infra-as-code)

Comfortable leading small teams and working cross-functionally

Bonus: startup experience, LLM systems, or security expertise
