Job Title: Building Automation Project Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Building Automation System (BAS) projects across the Columbus, OH region. In this key leadership role, you'll manage all aspects of BAS projects—from kickoff through closeout—ensuring timely completion, technical accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and execute BAS/controls projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, scope, and budget goals.
Manage cross-functional project teams including engineering, programming, installation, and commissioning personnel.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
Review and approve design documents, submittals, and control sequences to ensure technical compliance.
Monitor project progress through scheduling tools and documentation tracking (RFIs, change orders, commissioning logs, etc.).
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee system startup, testing, and integration of HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
Conduct project closeouts and turnover packages, including as-builts and O&M manuals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 4 years of BAS or low-voltage controls project management experience, preferably with commercial or institutional buildings.
Experience with major BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric).
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control logic, and system commissioning procedures.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and project documentation tools.
Exceptional communication, time management, and leadership skills.
PMP certification, OSHA 30, or relevant project training preferred.
