As the Manager, HR Technology Operations, you’ll lead activities and support for delivering, operating, and implementing various human resources (HR) technology-based applications and program deliverables. We'll count on your expertise to consult and execute on highly complex, interdependent and specialized projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leads day-to-day technology activities that support delivering, operating, and implementing a variety of HR technology-based applications and program deliverables. These include platforms for mentor pairing, learning systems, assessments, internal HR search and knowledge engines, and HR document retention sites.
Leads a key partnership and stewardship of Future of Work Career Certificates from vendor partnership, offerings, experience enhancements, utilization, and impact.
Ensures operating efficiency, drives enhancements, and optimizes overall user experience for various HR applications.
Partners and consults on the most efficient and effective use of technology in the delivery of HR programs to maximize end user experience.
Partners with key stakeholders, teams, and configuration resources to understand, influence, support, and help operationalize overall learning and talent development strategies.
Leads technology and operational support for delivering a variety of associate, leader, and executive development assessments and team effectiveness tools.
Confers with other HR teams, Nationwide Technology, and key business partners to deliver solutions and help resolve technology issues.
Manages and implements projects, defines and determines operational requirements. and provides technology and operation solutions.
Responsible for the management of associates, including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow planning, engagement, team effectiveness and hiring.
Manages vendor relationships with our external partners, including contract negotiations, value review and troubleshooting.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director, Learning Solutions & Executive Development. Manages a team focused on technology, operations, and talent management support.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree in business, learning and development, management, business, human resources, technology, organization development or related field preferred.
Experience: Typically, eight or more years of demonstrated experience in human resources, HR learning and talent technologies, technical and professional instructional design. Four years or more of people management experience. Technical insurance industry experience desired in addition to professional learning and development experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of behavioral and organization development concepts and broad technical expertise in analysis, design, development, agile processes and implementation of HR and talent solutions. Knowledge of current policies, practices and trends affecting the business and organization. Strong verbal and written communication, planning, organizing, leading, process management, facilitation, and organizational change skills. Ability to motivate and engage team members and influence all levels of the organization, drive continuous improvement, scope and prioritize work efforts, deliver results, embrace change and coach associates to reach higher levels of performance.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
