Job Summary

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading culinary operations at a corporate campus serving over 2,000 guests daily across three cafés. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will support team supervision, food preparation, rotating menu development, ordering, cost control, and the implementation of new culinary programs. The campus includes three cafés—two with limited menus in warehouse settings, and one flagship location offering seven rotating culinary stations and a full-service barista island. Operations run Monday through Saturday for breakfast and lunch, with dinner service Monday–Thursday at two cafés. Shifts are typically Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday and Saturday. Sundays and most holidays are off, with the exception of Thanksgiving as business needs require. Key Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, food production, ordering, and cost control

Supervise, schedule, and support 40 hourly employees (25 culinary), ensuring high performance and team engagement

Oversee food safety, sanitation standards, and compliance (ServSafe)

Lead execution of catering events and rollout of new culinary initiatives

Maintain inventory and support cost-effective, quality-focused operations

Drive client satisfaction and service excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience

Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience

High-volume, multi-unit foodservice background preferred

Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful

Strong catering skills a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet tools

ServSafe certification highly desirable

Team-oriented, organized, and adaptable
