We are seeking a talented Dental Assistant excited about an exciting opportunity at The Dental Group at Polaris. Your main role will involve providing outstanding patient care to ensure their satisfaction. Your tasks will consist of supporting the dentist during patient visits and treatments. $24 - $28 hourlyResponsibilities:
Assist the dentist chairside by providing necessary instruments, materials, and taking x-rays during procedures
Ensure proper organization and setup of all dental tools, supplies, and medications needed for treatments
Support in laboratory procedures by pouring and trimming dental impressions
Educate patients on oral health care, including giving preventive advice and instructions
Scheduling patients for future appointments
Qualifications:
Applicant must have 1-2 years of dental assistant experience
Understanding dental office operations is a fundamental requirement for this role
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for interacting with patients and the dental team efficiently
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary for managing various tasks with ease
The ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities is essential in the fast-paced dental office
Proficiency in computer skills is a must for maintaining patient records and utilizing dental software effectively
This position is for experienced dental assistants only and applicants must have a radiology license with The State of Ohio allowing them to take xraysAbout Company
