Job Description
Position Summary:
The Manager of Web & Digital Services leads the organization's digital presence and strategy, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. This role is responsible for website management and maintenance – including the Alliance site and any child sites, SEO/SEM initiatives, working alongside the Marketing & Content Specialist on digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, and leveraging technology to enhance member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee website content, functionality, and user experience, ensuring integrity of site architecture and accuracy of information
Proactively coordinate with teams and departments to organize and structure web content, managing workflows and requests while considering necessary deadlines and team needs
Managing the registration and renewal of domain names and Configuring Domain Name System (DNS) settings to ensure proper mapping of domain names to IP addresses.
Lead SEO/SEM efforts to improve web and overall digital visibility and reach
Analyze metrics and provide reports and recommendations for optimization across web and digital platforms, including to paying advertisers
Ensure digital accessibility compliance and security across platforms
Identify emerging digital trends and technologies relevant to the organization
Support Marketing & Content Specialist in implementing advertisements across Alliance platforms/offerings
Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Content Specialist to develop, support, and implement digital marketing strategies
Collaborate with IT on technical requirements and implementation
Manage digital vendor relationships and contracts
Assist members with login credentials and accessing the website as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in web management & digital marketing
Basic understanding of HTML code; proficiency in Content Management Systems, such as WordPress
Understanding of database integration with the website and other systems
Strong understanding of SEO/SEM principles and best practices
Experience with creating and maintaining web analytics tools for real time reporting and data-driven decision making
Proficiency with content management systems and digital marketing platforms
Knowledge of digital accessibility standards
Strong project management skills
