HireNow Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Tool Maker A for a leading manufacturing facility in Franklin Park, IL. This is a high-level position for a skilled professional who can fabricate, repair, and maintain complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and repair precision tools, gauges, jigs, and fixtures

Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering sketches

Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc.)

Inspect tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications

Modify tooling to improve production processes

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot tool-related issues

Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and production personnel

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or apprenticeship completion preferred

Minimum 5 years of toolmaking experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficient in reading complex blueprints and using precision measurement tools

Strong experience with CNC and manual machining operations

Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
