Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to manage inbound and outbound operations, including loading and unloading trucks, picking full pallets, and placing products in their designated areas. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to FDA regulations, ensuring quality over quantity while maintaining GMP/SOP standards.

Responsibilities

Operate Stand Up forklift for inbound and outbound activities.

Load and unload trucks efficiently.

Pick full pallets and correctly place products.

Ensure adherence to GMP/SOPs and FDA regulations.

Identify and rectify mistakes during operations.

Maintain inventory accuracy using SAP systems.Essential Skills

Proficient in operating Stand Up forklifts and electric pallet jacks.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong computer and RF scanner skills.

Experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is advantageous.

SAP/Inventory experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large, 500,000 square ft. warehouse with a semi-climate controlled environment. The facility is air-conditioned in the summer but unheated in the winter to maintain product integrity. It serves as a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing processes, including bean roasting and production of chocolate liquor, powders, and cocoa butter.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
