Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director to oversee payroll operations for our organization in Arlington, Virginia.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll systems, financial services, and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate and efficient payroll processes.

Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian systems to oversee payroll functions and generate comprehensive reports.

- Administer 401k and RRSP plans, ensuring accurate contributions and compliance with regulations.

- Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Lead the preparation and analysis of payroll-related financial reports using tools such as Crystal Reports.

- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and financial data.

- Provide guidance and support to staff on payroll-related inquiries and benefit functions.

- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to optimize payroll workflows.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

- Train and mentor payroll team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management or a related field.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian systems.

- Strong knowledge of 401k and RRSP administration processes.

- Experience with Crystal Reports for payroll analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with auditing procedures and accounting principles.

- Ability to manage benefit functions and address employee inquiries effectively.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
