We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Staff level) to be based at our client in Sidoarjo factory, who will be responsible for the maintenance and operational reliability of mechanical and electrical machinery within our seafood processing facility. The ideal candidate is expected to have prior experience working in a similar factory setting, preferably in seafood processing or food manufacturing.
General Qualifications:
Male or female, maximum age 35
Minimum education: Associate's (D3) or Bachelor's (S1) degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
Physically and mentally healthy, willing to work in shift schedules
Willing to be placed full-time in Sidoarjo
Specific Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical roles within the food processing industry, preferably in pasteurization plants (crab processing experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems, especially:
Electrical panels, industrial electrical installations, electric motors
Heating and cooling systems (including chillers, boilers, and autoclaves)
Pump systems, valves, and process piping
Experienced in performing preventive and corrective maintenance
Proficient in reading technical drawings (electrical & mechanical)
Capable of troubleshooting processing machinery in the food & beverage industry
Additional Competencies:
Familiar with factory environments that follow HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
Highly proactive, responsive in emergencies, and quick to adapt
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Committed to workplace safety and cleanliness in the production area
