Description:

Our client is seeking a Desktop Technician to support end users with hardware, software, and network component installations to meet their personal computer needs. This includes Windows 11 upgrades and deploying replacement machines. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve issues for single or multiple systems, including vendor coordination when necessary.

Installing and configuring hardware, software, and networking components

Upgrading systems to Windows 11 and deploying new machines

Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware/software issues

Performing diagnostic reviews and generating error reports

Supporting computer-related projects and implementing policies

Assisting with the creation of operational reports for system monitoring

Providing recommendations and purchasing information for hardware/software

Supporting remote access and resolving end-user issues

Managing new computer configurations and workstation replacements

Participating in the rollout of new software platforms

Tracking user support requests and maintaining detailed case histories

Confirming issue resolution with users and closing support cases

Skills Required

Experience with M365 / O365 migrations (required)

Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and terminology

Basic problem-solving skills

Strong communication and organizational skills

Skills Preferred

Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system

Experience supporting Palo Alto VPN software

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of related experience with a high school diploma

Education Required

High school diploma

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
