Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on UX/UI Team Lead who will own and lead the UX/UI design across the entire Empeon platform.
You will:
Define and drive the UX and UI strategy across all products.
Design user flows, task flows, lo-fi wireframes, hi-fi wireframes, and prototypes.
Establish a robust and scalable design system to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience across the platform
Conduct user research, gather feedback, and turn insights into actionable design improvements.
Lead usability improvements at both the workflow and interface level.
Balancing the ability to constantly and consistently deliver small features while working on larger projects
This is a hands-on leadership role: You will personally design and set the UX/UI direction for the entire Empeon platform.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in UX and UI design for SaaS or B2B software products.
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex, user-centered product design — including user flows, task flows, lo-fi wireframes, hi-fi wireframes, and prototypes .
Expertise in Figma.
Experience creating and maintaining robust and scalable design systems.
Skilled in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable improvements.
Ability to balance business goals, user needs, and technical constraints.
Partner with stakeholders & product owners to translate business needs while balancing users’ needs into intuitive experiences.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
Strong documentation capabilities.
Conduct design reviews and provide UX-focused feedback to ensure a seamless, consistent experience.
Stay current with UX/UI best practices and industry trends – introduce new ideas and improvements.
Set and enforce UX/UI standards and best practices across all Empeon products.
Bonus: Experience in the HR, payroll, or healthcare space.
