Vehicle Operator - CDL Class A Required

Ottawa, Kansas 6-9 month Contract $30-32/hr

A cutting-edge technology company focused on autonomous ground vehicles is seeking a Vehicle Operator to support vehicle testing and demonstrations in the field. This role is ideal for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating vehicles in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and transport test vehicles and equipment in support of field trials and demos

Assist with vehicle setup, maintenance, and safety checks

Communicate with team members via two-way radios and basic digital tools

Follow safety protocols and contribute to mission readiness

Support both indoor prep work and outdoor field activities

Qualifications:

Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred

Solid driving record with minimal infractions

Experience driving large vehicles

Basic familiarity with vehicle maintenance and communication tools
