Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, with expertise in operating CNC machines and a thorough understanding of precision manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and electrical discharge machining equipment, to produce high-quality components.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining processes and dimensions.

Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices in machining techniques and equipment operation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.

Proficiency in basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.

Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and creating machining programs.

Experience using hand tools, forklifts, and other machinery relevant to the production environment.

Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply that knowledge in practical settings.

Knowledge of electrical discharge machining techniques is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
