Shift A:

Monday-Wednesday: 7:00am-7:00pm NO SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Thursday: 7:00am-1:00pm A TOTAL OF 42 HOURS

Shift B:

Monday-Wednesday: 7:00pm-7:00am SHIFT DIFFERNTIAL – $0.60

Every other Thursday: 7:00pm-7:00am A TOTAL OF 36 / 48 HOURS

Shift C:

Sunday: 7:00am-7:00pm SHIFT DIFFERNTIAL – $1.00

Thursday: 1:00pm-7:00pm

Friday-Saturday: 7:00am-7:00pm A TOTAL OF 42 HOURS

Shift D:

Sunday: 7:00pm-7:00am SHIFT DIFFERNTIAL – $1.60

Every other Thursday: 7:00pm-7:00am

Friday-Saturday: 7:00pm-7:00am A TOTAL OF 36 / 48 HOURS

Must be able to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs

Responsible for set-up, machine operating, or tending to the turning machines (windup) which turn plastic material on large spindles.

Safety glasses required. Will be exposed to dust and vibration, frequently exposed to manufacturing chemicals

Noise level is usually load

Exposure to machinery and mechanical moving parts

Some of the minimum requirements from the hiring managers for these positions:

1-2 years machine operating (spindle machines, molding/press machines, CNC machines, etc.).

Basic math skills.

Ability to speak, read and write in English, for safety reasons.

Ability to use and read basic measurement tools (such as a measuring tape).

Level of exposure to a manufacturing floor/environment, including machine helpers.

Comfortable with a physical position in a loud environment.

Ability to identify if something is wrong with the product (basic visual inspection/quality control).

Qualifications:

HS diploma required, GED or equivalent preferred.

0-2 years of experience required; manufacturing experience in a similar production environment preferred.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus.

Knowledge of production process and quality control.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands:

Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs

Ability to continuously walk up and down stairs after each batch (70+ times per shift)

Adheres to safety standards and wears personal protection equipment (safety glasses required, mask and gloves optional)

Factory environment, indoors, climate controlled and ventilated

Noise level is usually load

Exposure to dust and vibration

Frequently exposed to manufacturing chemicals

Exposure to machinery and mechanical moving parts

Job Description:

Ensure that layer counts are accurate.

Stamp cores legibly.

Manually lift rolls from spindles, places on scale for weighing and stacks finished rolls gaylord.

Ensure that empty gaylords skids are available for change when full gaylords are ready.

General cleaning/housekeeping.

Other duties as assigned
