We are currently seeking a Remote IT Specialist to manage and support our internal IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in network management, software support, and enterprise system coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support for desktop, network, and application-related issues.
Monitor system performance and ensure IT systems are running efficiently.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Maintain data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Implement and support security protocols and antivirus systems.
Document IT procedures, system configurations, and changes.
Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfill technology needs.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend improvements.
Support remote users with VPN, email, and system access issues Provide training and guidance to users on basic system and software usage.
Create email addresses for new employees in the Exchange server Set up Outlook email and ensure data syncs to Exchange Provide file server permissions to authorized users and managers.
Repair desktop and laptop and recover the data loss.
Arrange meetings for the department and higher management if required, using tools like Microsoft Teams or Cisco WebEx.
Create service requests and material requests in the ERP system.
Follow up with suppliers for requested items and thoroughly check specifications.
Maintain the IT inventory, including CPUs, laptops, copier machines, plotters, printers, and assigned fixed assets.
Manage and configure CCTV surveillance cameras for the head office and site offices, and maintain backup recording Visit sites for technical issues if necessary.
