Join Our Team as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Starting Pay: $17.33 - $22.00 per hour based on experience

Exciting $5,000 Sign-On Bonus with Full-Time Commitment!

We are seeking dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to provide top-notch patient care in accordance with our protocols and medical direction.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Responding promptly to instructions from emergency medical dispatch while driving a specialized emergency vehicle to the scene.

Maintaining communication with dispatch through monitoring communication equipment.

Assisting in the evacuation of victims from accident or disaster scenes.

Assessing the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses to determine appropriate first aid procedures.

Administering critical first aid treatments on-site, including splinting, oxygen administration, IV injections, and resuscitation techniques.

Effective communication with medical professionals at treatment facilities for guidance on further care and victim reception arrangements.

Facilitating the transport of victims to medical centers and assisting with required documentation on their vital statistics.

Ensuring that emergency vehicles and medical equipment are well-maintained and adequately stocked.

Supporting professional medical staff in delivering emergency treatment at medical facilities.

Accurately documenting all pre-hospital care and billing information before the end of your shift.

Performing other pertinent duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

Engaging in community outreach programs to enhance AMR’s image and foster community relations.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Kansas Advanced EMT Certification or eligibility.

Infection Control Certificate.

CPR Certification.

Preferred NREMT Certification.

Valid State Driver's License.

Driving record in line with company policy.

Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
