Office of Admissions Responsibilities

The Office of Admissions is a unit within the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management's integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the student's development and progression in their academic experience - from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families and to campus partners across the University.

Responsible for the strategic management and development of operations based in Slate to improve efficiency and promote growth in admissions processes.

Responsible for the strategic management and development of operations based in Slate. Collaborates with admissions staff to develop new processes. Serves as a Slate Captain in our Undergraduate instance. Supports slate users from external departments. Supervises subject matter experts on the Slate team.

Responsible for building and maintaining solutions to improve efficiencies in admissions processes in Slate including form building, email notifications, file review workflow processes, query building, field and prompt creation, portal creation and maintenance, and other tasks necessary to build and maintain the CRM. Manage all aspects of data collection, reporting, and data sharing between Slate and other systems, including the planning, development, testing, training, functional maintenance, and documentation of policies and procedures. Works with Technology Operations to improve efficiency in admission processes.

Stays ahead of best practices in Slate and implements new features to improve internal productivity and the user experience. Position is responsible for the evaluation, management, and implementation of annual updates within Slate. Create and maintain documentation of new processes, policies, and application configuration.

Work collaboratively with campus partners to support the technical aspects of processes operating in Slate that impact new student enrollment.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six years of experience related to technical services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and ten years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.)Preferred Qualifications

Experience and comfort working with a variety of computer software applications, databases, and student information systems.

Experience with the principles and practices of student program planning, development, and evaluation.

Ability to apply Admissions principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives.

Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.University Information
