An Information Technology (IT) Engineer III is responsible for the success of projects and operational systems of any size. They must be strong in the areas of technical mentoring, documentation, and system support. An IT Engineer III is expected to have advanced skills and knowledge of various IT spaces. These individuals help solve complex problems relating to computer hardware or software and provide solutions based on their technical knowledge, research and troubleshooting skills. They are also expected to have strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, as they may work with different teams, and stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities

System support: Servicing and managing technological resources to support customers, stakeholders, partners, staff, and overall business strategy. This may include installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware, software, network, and security systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues, performing backups and upgrades, and ensuring system availability, performance, and compliance.

Project management: Assisting customers with new project definition, prioritization, and preparation of project documents and management reports. This may include defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, budget, timeline, and risks, as well as coordinating project teams and stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and reporting on project status and outcomes.

Technical mentoring: Providing technical mentoring to IT Engineer I's and II's. This may include sharing best practices, troubleshooting techniques, tools and resources, feedback and guidance, and professional development opportunities.

Infrastructure Management: Integrates and supports new and existing architectural features into infrastructures, implements artifacts, provides analysis of system features, and relates existing system applications, and security to future needs and trends, provides engineeringrecommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for use by engineers and operations. This may include designing and documenting system architecture, configuration, and processes, as well as creating and updating user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.

Capacity Management: Evaluates existing network systems and plans short-term strategies to ensure IT capacity meets current and future network requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Previous experience in IT Systems

5 Years of OT Network experience

Knowledge of Automated Warehouses (Vertique)

3-5 Years of Zscaler experience

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
