Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our partner in South Phoenix! This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who is eager to support the daily accounting and administrative operations of a growing industrial rental business.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions using A/P automation software to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Act as a backup for customer billing tasks, including sending statements and resolving inquiries.
• Deposit checks electronically through a remote scanner to streamline payment processing.
• Apply customer payments accurately and maintain detailed financial records.
• Retrieve, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring smooth office operations.
• Manage and reconcile expense reports, including credit card statements, with attention to detail.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, ordering supplies, and coordinating meetings to support team efficiency.Rober• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or accounting support role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and standard business practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with billing, invoice processing, and data entry.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is preferred.
